Disney Cruise Line Navigator App Reviews

Great app. Loved the texting feature and being able to see the navigators at any time. Also liked the reminders for activities you favorite 15 minutes beforehand so you dont miss anything.

Overall I think if youre going on a Disney cruise its a good app to use. I was disappointed in a few items. First there were errors in our itinerary. Second I wish that I could have a list of my familys favorites so that we can all use our own phone and plan together. Third it should list any things Ive scheduled and remind me of them. Such as Senses, Remy/Palo, etc. we missed a Remy brunch because we were using the app to plan our day and forgot about our reservations.

The app worked for the most part, if you set it up for what you wanted but the messaging was slooooow. This needs a fix.

We had 19 family members on the Disney Wonder! The app worked great! It allowed us to find each other and let each other know what we were up to and where we all were. Would have been nice if we could send pictures on the app but I have been on other cruises where you have no idea what friends and family are doing which is a bummer when you have to spend time searching for them. There was one time for me when it didnt work but other than that it was awesome! Very helpful!

I looked forward to opening the app to view my countdown before my trip on the Disney Magics Eastern Caribbean 7 day cruise (Apr 17-23, 2016). This was my third DCL trip and while I LOVE collecting physical copies of the navigators (as a keepsake), I was all about the app this time!! I loved being able to "heart" interesting activities to set a reminder. I loved previewing the dinner menus too!!!! I gave this app five stars, but I wish the messaging feature included a ping notification when I received a message. I also wished the notification for a "heart" (or favorited) activity had an audible ping notification instead of a brief vibration. Job well done! Im missing it already

We just took a cruise on the Disney Fantasy. The app was helpful with knowing times for shows, movies, and other activities going on around the ship. One thing that needs some work done is the messaging portion. You didnt know one of your family members or friends sent you a message unless you opened the app. Think it should alert you that you got a message. Other then that, I liked using it.

We were traveling with 4 adults and 4 kids on the Fantasy during a Star Wars Day At Sea week, and this was an incredibly easy way for all of us to communicate on the ship The push notification reminders helped us stay on top of all of the events we selected as favorites. It would be nice if some of the activity descriptions were more detailed, but overall a great tool.

Just finished a 7 Day Cruise and used this app from the moment we booked the cruise to our final day on the cruise. The app texting feature was very good. Was able to easily communicate with those we were cruising with. We used this navigator to plan the day and referred back to it throughout the day if there was a lull in our schedule. There were reminders from the cruise director to close out of the app throughout the day and refresh the wifi in case there were any updates to the schedule .. I did restart here and there but has 0 issues. A great feature for consideration would be to use this phone to pay for onboard purchases or key to the room. But excellent experience with The app overall :)

The app was a great way to stay connected and to know what was going on on the ship. It does not notify you when the app is closed which is my only complaint, although they tell you that up front and are working on it. Overall a wonderful app and an even better experience on board because of it

Really good app for information on things to do and schedules. The texting app is alright, but not reliable. It helps somewhat to communicate, but it could be improved. Overall was a great tool on the boat.

Used the app often to find my way!

Better for texting than the cabin phones, by far. Schedule, menus. All we needed.

It was every helpful to communicate with friends and family aboard our cruise. We all enjoyed it. But for some reason I could not tell when I got a text because it would not make a noise or vibrate when I got a texted and others did. So I never could tell when I got a text But other than that it was cool cause I never had to being a navigator and my sister did because she doesnt have a phone. So ever think went great and that was our third cruise so we wish we found out about this sooner

This app was very handy with a family of 7 all over the ship and no 4G service like we are used to. It was great to be able to text with the kids when they were off doing something else. (We wish we could still use the Disney emojis!!) Being able to look at all the activities/menus was helpful too. If this app worked on Castaway Cay I would give it a 5.

The only recommendation I have is to personalize it. Add our Spa treatment appointments, etc.

We cruised from April 22- April 27 and it was so helpful having this app. It automatically gave you current ship events and maps of where things are and chat with anyone on the ship via a wifi specifically made for the app. It tells you all the dining options available and their hours. So easy to plan out your day with this tool. My only qualm is I wish it showed the current time on the app since we had to change our time backwards then forwards, we werent sure which clocks were changed lol.

Kept the family updated on all the events. Reminders were great!
