Hey DCL- why is there a need to do a full login (email/password) each time you open the App? REALLY annoying. I’d prefer to just remain logged in.

Overall it’s pretty good, main issue is the “more” button doesn’t work. It just shows a blank page
App needs to honor the phones accessibility options… hard to use until this is a implemented
Unlike the other Disney vacation apps, this one cannot be used for planning or understanding the layout of a ship, restaurants available, menus, etc. This app is only useful when you’re on the ship during your reserved cruise and connected to the ship’s WiFi. Would love to be able to use the app to see the ship layout and options before I book a trip or even after the reservation is made to aid in trip planning.
The app font was too small and could not find a way to make it larger. Impossible for many in my family to read the chat without glasses on. The filter was a hassle. Every time you filter if you change days you have to refilter. I have no need for certain age activities, but filtering them constantly proved to be a pain. Wish I could see the activities the week before my trip. I really wanted to plan things like spa time around the shows and events. Having to wait until I got to the boat to see the entertainment options was a pain.
Everything was pretty good working except the chatting. It was so laggy that I could barely get a text through.
This app works fairly well when you are on a cruise. The app does nothing if you don’t have a reservation entered. It would be nice if you could look around at new adventures in the app.
Truly the worst and most unreliable app I’ve ever used. To say it’s a glitchy is an understatement. It’s as bad as their website unfortunately. A company with the amount of money as Disney needs to do better. This isn’t a new issue- their tech is the worst in the Disney brand.
The app is full of all the data you need on cruise, but the developers didn’t seem to think it was important to provide an easy way to filter it. The lack of keyword search is a gross oversight. Right now, I need to scroll thru all the daily activities on every day of the cruise to find the events I care about. Why can’t I just search for “bingo” or “Donald Duck”? Would also benefit from being able to share favorites with users in the same stateroom instead of everyone needing to search and add favorites to get an event reminder.
The Disney Cruise app looks great — the graphics are clean and polished, and it definitely captures the Disney magic visually. Unfortunately, that’s where the magic ends. At home, the app is prone to crashing, and many key features (like check-in!) don’t work properly. You’ll end up using the website anyway, which defeats the point of having an app in the first place. Once you’re on board, things don’t improve much. The app demands access to your data and won’t work with Private Relay enabled over DCL’s Wi-Fi. Even then, it frequently shows outdated or incorrect information. Menus were wrong multiple times during our trip, and when we asked about it, crew members just shrugged — clearly it’s a known issue. Worse yet, the app is not intuitive. Many guests didn’t realize they could swipe or scroll for more info, and if you’re the tech-savvy one in your group, be prepared to spend your vacation being the unofficial app tutor. Not exactly the relaxing getaway you were hoping for. It’s a great concept with nice visuals, but the functionality and user experience just aren’t there. Needs major improvement before it can really enhance the cruise experience.
Easy to use, helpful while on the ship, intuitive.
Love that it’s like texting on the cruise
this app was a wonderful help on our vacation. We were able to see dining locations, Activities,Movies, etc. Also it is great if u want to text your family but don’t want to pay for the expensive wifi.
As usual, Disney just cannot seem to figure out mobile apps. Crashed constantly, very basic in terms of what it could do, and the messaging wasn’t very reliable. Super frustrating. 3 stars only because without it, you’d be stuck paying a ton for WiFi.
Great app, very helpful but the princess and the frog on the uncharted adventure broke every screen we tried.
Can not handle the influx of people trying to check in and book experiences when they open. Extremely unreliable on board. Received messages to pick up children from kids club 48 hours later on board.
This app is great and has all the information you need. Only worked about 15% of the time while on the boat or ports.
The best app out there for cruises. So many things you can view and book through the app vs waiting in line. The only thing that would make it way cooler is if they had a map feature to see where the ship is currently.
Missing map
The app was everything we needed to plan activities, have up to date notifications and announcements and communicate with family and friends. However, the app kept glitching and kicking us out or at times not delivering messages. It was at random times and with Apple users and android users. Other than that, it was great!
This app was so helpful during our entire stay. From keeping us updated on activities and events taking place to allowing us to communicate with one another and our young ones. Everyone should use this when on the cruise.
This is the way to go! Real time updates, all the info in one spot, and very easy to use.
It is kinda hard to find the message and text but I wish I could give it a lower score
I use a password keeper to keep my passwords secure, and yet this app…this ONE app…is the ONLY one that doesn’t allow me to copy and paste my password from my keeper app into this one. And please don’t tell me this is for “security” because my banks, credit cards, etc. all allow this simple, modern feature. This is another example of the small things that Disney does that annoy and frustrate while charging a premium. Please fix this before we go on our cruise so I don’t have INSECURELY write down my password to access this app on the ship.
Best cruise line ever
I loved it so much and I am definitely going again. The pizza, pool, ICE CREAM, and the chicken nuggets were so amazing. The service was great and my family’s service and I were great especially Rhally and Pradip they were are servers for dinner and they were so nice and amazing. I loved it so much and I am coming again.
Our servers Kevin and Mahji were the best people in this ship pls give them a raise for their service and they deserve it 🔥

The app itself is pretty great - before your cruise it can help plan activities, and during your cruise it’s got all kinds of good stuff. Unfortunately, during the cruise the free bits of the WiFi, meant to make the app work well throughout even if you’re not paying to stay generally connected, are quite erratic. For me it worked maybe 50% of the time.
I’m under 21 years old and the app knows that so why on earth would the app only offer me alcohol if I clicked on “onboard fun”? The rest was pretty good though.
Could have been better by automatically letting you know if adventures overlap with current bookings
This app is awesome! So convenient to have it while on a ship.
My app stopped working during my cruise. Worked great the first few days and was easy to navigate. But once it started glitching nothing I could do to get it to work again
From embarking to disembarking this app never cease to impress me. It was very user friendly and helpful through the entire cruise.
Would it be possible to have the chat option pinned down at the banner bar or main menu. Difficult to navigate to. Also, would it be possible to forgo the ID pin and be able to search someone by their name? Otherwise, I liked the option to see the full days activities and heart something to keep on my daily planner. Notifications were good to remind me of activities throughout the day.
First and last Disney cruise but I lived to travel again. Almost drowned at Serenity Bay at castaway cay. Floated on a tube extremely far out into the water which was my stupidity but when the lifeguard realized I was in trouble but chose to do nothing he needs replaced. It took over 30 minutes for me to get there shore. The cruise has pros and cons. The pirate show with the fireworks was very nice as well as the stage productions loved Genie in Aladdin. The food was edible but not great. Most items were overcooked and the 2 pasta dishes I tried were clumped together in a gluten like blob. Would prefer an anytime dining setting with more restaurant options. Did not care for rotational dining. Took 20 minutes in line to get into a dining room we were assigned to with a specific time slot. The ship was over crowded. Pools are extremely small and filled beyond capacity. Most activities did not have enough time slots and were sold out or only offered once during the cruise. Prefer a ship with better options for activities as my grand daughter kept saying she was bored. Disney cruise seems to be loved by many but it is not for me. Also on restaurant issues would have appreciated an upscale restaurant time when children would be welcome.
We all signed in and got connected. Our first few chats worked then some in the group were not getting the messages. We had to default to iMessage.
I love using this day to day to make plans, and get notifications when it’s time for them! It’s also nice to chat with Totally recommend!!!☺️
Disney makes finding events and scheduling things easy on your cruise. Keeping track of what adults and kids want to do helps you schedule kid club times and family events for all the magic memories. This app is a must for all Mickey Mouse fans! And you can book your placeholder in app too!!! So easy. Cheers!
For the most part the app worked well. It helped you know what, when, and where activities were happening on the ship. You could chat with people on the ship who had your ID and that was very helpful since we kept our phones in airplane mode. It would be helpful if the app had detailed weather on your Home Screen or at least a link to detailed weather from there. It’s hard to know what to wear when getting off the boat at a port without a breakdown by hour (we had rain in our forecast) and since our phones were on airplane mode we needed the app to provide that information. The only issue we experienced is opening the app to see activities and the app would open but once you went to explore the activities the screen went blank. Sometimes this was an easy fix with just restarting our phones or disconnecting and reconnecting to cruise WiFi. Overall it was good to have.
Sometimes very slow. Sometimes does not work at all.
No search function. Not intuitive. Needs text message notifications
i could text people and it helped so so so much!
The app works great. There is A LOT of information available. I just wished there was a search bar a couple of times!
App was very useful but would force close constantly.
5 star
The app is not downloading for me.
Internet was slow, and not very user friendly to navigate
The app could use a locator app with the ship floor plan as background so to determine where to go. Also a locator for the ship in the world similar to the onboard ship data channel. Real time weather data would be nice also.
